What is included

  • Fault found and photographed before any work
  • Fixed price from our repair list, agreed on the spot
  • Joints resealed with gutter-grade sealant, not bathroom silicone
  • Runs realigned to fall towards the outlet
  • Twelve-month guarantee on every repair

Signs you need it

  • A steady drip from a joint after the rain has stopped
  • A run that bows in the middle or has pulled away from the fascia
  • Water pooling in one spot instead of reaching the outlet
  • A downpipe hanging loose from its clips

Most gutter repairs are small. A joint seal perishes after fifteen or twenty years, a bracket screw rusts through and lets one section sag, a downpipe clip snaps and the pipe slides away from the wall. Each is a short job once someone is up there, and each gets worse if it is left: a sagging run holds standing water, which adds weight, which pulls the next bracket out.

We price repairs from a fixed list so you know the cost before we start. If a clean turns up a fault, we photograph it, tell you the price, and only fix it if you say yes. Anything that is not on the list, like replacing a full run or matching old cast iron, gets a written quote you can take away and think about.

Plastic, cast iron and aluminium

Most houses in and around Lincoln have plastic gutters from the 1980s or later, and those are quick to fix with standard parts in the van. Victorian terraces and older cottages often still have cast iron. We repair it rather than rip it out where we can: joints can be remade with proper gutter bolts and sealant, and a cracked section can be replaced with a new casting painted to match.

Every repair carries a twelve-month guarantee. If the same joint leaks again inside that year, we come back and do it again for nothing.

  • Refix a loose or dropped bracket£12
  • Reseal a leaking joint£25
  • Replace a joint union£38
  • Realign a sagging run (up to 4 m)£55
  • Refit a slipped downpipe or clip£20
  • Replace a stop end or outlet£35
“Our cottage has old cast-iron gutters and I was nervous about anyone leaning a ladder on them. They used the pole vacuum, never touched the ironwork and the camera pictures showed it was the first proper clean in years.”
